Located at Stone Oak Parkway and US Hwy 281 North, this sleek modern four-level cast-in-place concrete parking garage features a 51,305 sf transit lobby on the ground level, complete with ticket office/cashier, restrooms, and conditioned waiting room. Generous covered seating was provided outdoors. The striking exterior is accented with prefinished metal louver blades and perforated metal screens. The large, illuminated VIA logo broadcasts the building’s use. Illuminated stair towers indicate pedestrian entrances to the bus depot which provides 400 parking spaces. The exterior site work, concrete, masonry, ornamental metal, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and utilities/water quality were included in the work.
