IN MEMORIAM

George Vaughn
Architect. Mentor. Friend.
We share with great sadness the passing of George Vaughn, one of the founders of RVK
George helped shape more than RVK’s name, he shaped who we are.
A gifted architect and quiet leader, George believed deeply in doing good work and doing it with integrity. He understood that good architecture begins with understanding people, their needs, their culture, and the way they live and work. He brought that same thoughtfulness to the relationships he built throughout his career. Clients, colleagues, and friends remember his calm presence, humility, generosity, kindness, and genuine interest in others.
George was also a man of deep faith. It was not separate from his professional life. It showed up in how he treated people, how he led, and how he responded when others needed him. He encouraged, served, prayed with, and cared for people in ways that left a lasting impression.
His influence can still be seen throughout RVK, not only in the buildings he helped create or the relationships he built, but in the people he mentored and the values he modeled. Those who worked alongside George learned from his commitment to excellence, his respect for others, and his belief that there was always an opportunity to make something better.
George’s legacy lives on in the people he invested in, the lives he touched, and the firm he helped shape. We are grateful to have been part of his life and honored to carry that legacy forward.
Our thoughts and prayers are with George’s family and all those who loved him.
With a grateful heart,
The RVK Family
